parcHAUS Tavolo Development Moving Forward
Unsurprising to locals, the City of Fort Worth was named the 12th largest city in the U.S., according to the latest U.S. Census report. With the influx of new residents and the surge in home sales, Fort Worth has felt the struggles of the housing shortage.
Our clients at Provident Realty Advisors saw an opportunity to make a helpful contribution to this growing market. Provident sought to bring the parcHAUS Tavolo development to life, which would provide additional rental opportunities in single family for rent, referred to in Fort Worth as detached multifamily.
Working with Provident Realty Advisors, Masterplan submitted the zoning case in Fort Worth. Masterplan Consultants, Laura Evans and Andrew Ruegg, both former planners in the City of Fort Worth, worked with the council office to answer questions and alleviate any concerns surrounding the project.
At the City Council meeting on August 24, 2021, Provident Realty was granted unanimous approval for the zoning change in Fort Worth. The property approved for zoning changes is a 24-acre tract of land located on the southeast corner of Altamesa Boulevard and Chisolm Trail Parkway in Fort Worth.
Provident Realty Advisors plans to officially kick off the project this week. They plan to push for permitting approvals as early as possible so they can begin development.
parcHAUS Tavolo is a planned single family for rent complex and would feature 224 units and offer rental homes with small yards and garages, modern amenities, and the low-maintenance convenience of leasing & site management. Amenities include a dog park, swimming pool, sports center, leasing center, and open space. One large draw is the proximity to the downtown urban center where many major offices are located, making this a convenient spot for those working nearby. Tavolo is also located near several schools within Crowley ISD as well as some of the most prestigious private schools in the area, which will make it a wonderful place for families.
