Separated from the hustle and bustle of Uptown and downtown Dallas sits the Toll Brothers’ new 22 story luxury apartment tower in Turtle Creek, known as Aster. With many Dallas residents wanting to feel more at home in an apartment, their needs have been heard and now solved with this new neighborhood property. The decision for this precise location was inspired by the idea of providing a quieter environment while still being close to the busier areas of Dallas. With this property, Toll Brothers wanted it to be timeless and true to the local culture, while also drawing on the vibrance of the area.
After more than two years of construction, Aster began opening its doors to residents in mid-October after pre-leasing began in August 2021 for its 270 available units. Before construction began, Masterplan was one of the first companies to help bring the Toll Brothers’ vision of this property to life. As part of our services, we provided them with landscape and development plans, as well as rezoned the property. Masterplan was able to rezone this property by creating a specialized zoning district for multifamily properties. This was also one of the first cases after Dallas’ affordable housing policy was enacted.
