Wonderspaces, an immersive, interactive art gallery in Austin, recently received a conditional use site plan to allow a cocktail lounge for patrons.
The Union is an 800,000 square foot, two-tower mixed use development. This dynamic project is located at the junction of five city streets in Uptown Dallas and surrounded by Dallas’ premier sports, entertainment, museum, and park venues. The project was designed by HKS, Inc. and constructed by DPR Construction.
This project is comprised of three lots to all be developed with multi-family units. The client needed a development plan approved through City Plan Commission with a new and difficult commissioner. We were also working under a very tight permitting schedule, knowing we would have to go through a slow plan review process with the ity.

Essentially, these are food preparation facilities that focus solely on the delivery aspect of the food industry, rather than the customer’s in-store dining experience and other aspects of running a full dine-in restaurant.
The Continental Gin Building is a historical building in Deep Ellum, located on the east side of downtown Dallas. Once the largest manufacturer of cotton gins in the world, this iconic building will now serve as an office, retail, and neighborhood destination. The building is currently home to popular workspace, Common Desk, a future restaurant tenant, and a yoga Pilates studio.
