Site Plans

A site plan is a detailed exhibit that shows existing physical elements in addition to proposed improvements to your property. One of the most important aspects of the site plan is to show the relationship between what already exists and planned construction. Governments require site plans in order to ensure the planned project will adhere to zoning and building codes.  

Because the document must meet local requirements to acquire your construction permit, the site plan must be prepared to the specifications of the local jurisdiction. Masterplan professionals understand the site plan requirements of each jurisdiction to acquire building permit approvals. 

We use GIS data, county parcel maps, and satellite images to review and study your property and the proposed development. This due diligence process is used to ensure the proposed project will meet your local requirements.

Ms. Kay joined Masterplan in July 2019 after a long career working for the City of Dallas as the Chief Planner for the Sustainable Development and Construction Department. Her experience with the City of Dallas and her graduate-level education from Texas A&M University bring new ideas and insight to Masterplan. She has several years of proven experience working for local governments and serving community organizations, development professionals, architects/engineers, and others engaged in urban planning and development.
